An'jhali continues her visit to the new forge. She is approached by forge assistant Shellanna, who asks An'jhali what she learned that may be useful to her now as a Ill'haress. An'jhali admits that there wasn't much beyond basic diplomacy. She is then approached by D'Nile, who asks if the Tei'kaliath's lack of faith is going to be a problem. An'jhali responds that only time will tell and takes her leave of the forge workers. She then proceeds to the camp, where she finds Ka'hab testing a sling. The Crafter reports that the weapon is a success and that they'll have to make more of them.
Chibi Katralya maniacally makes it known that she enjoys the extra help (see Healer and Harvester action.)
D'nile joins the forge workers. Mari'ciel sorts through the metal scraps and finds five that are long enough to be turned into swords.
Using donated scraps of cloth and leather the studio hands craft a prototype sling, the first distance weapon of the clan. Testing it they find that while it is of poor material, it is usable.
Kalika joins the harvesters. Katralya receives the aide of 29 ex-slaves and 6 warriors to help her with the days harvest. The result is a whopping 20 units of seafood, 20 units of baked algae, and 3 buckets of water.
Elif suggests that the ex-slaves go help Katralya.
The scouts continue to investigate the ruins. They discover that the residents are starting to become aware of the presence of people. Quel sends one assistant back to the camp to report their findings.
Shiir and the warriors help Katralya collect food.
