Tir'ay Form: Hard FormEdit
Hard-form Tir'ay styles are easy to determine as they focus on strikes and terrain usage. While mobility plays a key role in all styles, most Hard-form styles are the strongest in a restricted area where there is little place to go. Utilizing the Strike and Break over Hold and Throw, Hard-form fighters attempt to disable the opponent as quickly as possible. Although this is generally considered the least elegant style, it is the most effective and is generally taught militarily.
Sub-Forms of Hard FormEdit
The following are sub-forms of the Hard Form of Tir'ay:
- D'rak family traditional style: "The Slow marching Court" (aka: "Slow marching Doom")
- River Stone style: Practioner stays still, limiting movements to just the bare essentials. This allows the user to redirect an oppent's attacks and focus more on wearing their oppent down in a fight. Although mostly defensive it does incorperate a series of crushing palm strikes and low kicks.
