Veros is a member of a lineage with many great sorceress with earth affinity. His mother a wealthy merchant hired a scholar to teach the young drow as soon as he could speak. After a rigorous teaching Veros became quite skilled at manipulating earth and stone. Another part of the teaching was the art of the Tir'ay. But just the basic moves and lost the interest soon.
As he glowed up he left the household of his mother and to earn his own money and started working as trainee of a stone cutter and good friend of his mother. Later he opened - again with the help of his mother- his own shop. In the hope of increasing her business relations his mother later, coupled him with a noble woman, which also had great sorcery abilities. And indeed, she born four children whom also show a talent for sorcery.
Then the war breaks and nothing could stop the chaotic mobs in the streets. One by one his family died. It takes a long time for Veros to get over his loses. He followed An'jhali but had not much hope to survive. But after he saw the light in the far, he promised himself to build up a new home and a new live.
